Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is the surgical reshaping of the external nose. It solves aesthetic tasks: removing a hump, reshaping the tip, reducing the nostrils or correcting the shape after trauma. The breathing function is usually not affected.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoseptoplasty

A combined operation that simultaneously:

  • changes the external shape of the nose (as in rhinoplasty)
  • corrects a deviated septum to restore normal breathing

What to choose

If you are unhappy with the shape of your nose and have breathing problems (congestion, snoring, frequent runny nose), you need rhinoseptoplasty. If you breathe normally, rhinoplasty is enough. Sometimes septoplasty (straightening the septum only, without changing the shape) is performed separately for medical reasons.
