Indications for forehead and temporal lift
- low brow position
- asymmetric brow position
- low position of the brow tails
- pronounced excess tissue at the outer corner of the eye (a “sad” look)
- a “heavy” gaze
Expected result
- elevation and symmetrisation of the whole brow complex; depending on priorities, different parts of the brow can be raised, e.g. a more pronounced lift of the brow tail
- a more “open” gaze
- indirect lift of the mid-face
How it is performed
Anaesthesia: general. Access: 4–5 small incisions in the hairline on each side.
Using special instruments and an endoscopic camera, the tissues are detached. Internal sutures move the tissues to a higher position. The incisions are closed with biodegradable (self-absorbing) material or special metal clips.
This operation is considered both rejuvenating and beautifying, and is suitable for patients of different age groups.
